The New York Mets are signing superstar Juan Soto to a 15-year/$765M deal and Dan Patrick thinks it’s the Yankees who should be chalking up the win. He thinks they are showing fiscal responsibility which will allow them to build a much better roster, and it’s likely Soto will spend the majority of his ridiculously long contract as a DH. The Bronx Bombers made the right decision by refusing to break the bank.
Dan Patrick: “It feels like the Yankees won by not bringing in Juan Soto. It’s weird. You didn’t get the guy you wanted and I think you won.”
