On today's edition of The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, the guys react live to the Monday Night Football game between the Cincinatti Bengals & the Dallas Cowboys, and how the Cowboys still being competitive with Cooper Rush as their starter, shows how Jerry Jones inflated Dak Prescott's value.
Jason Smith: "The whole point about Dak Prescott is that, he's way more valuable to the Dallas Cowboys than he is to outside the rest of the league. Jerry Jones inflated his value, paid him more money than he should. Not saying, ‘OK, we can start over with Cooper Rush.' But understand that when you give Dak Prescott all that money, is what you get when he's not in the game. It's not, “Hey, the Cowboys performance is so far below, you can tell how they missed their quarterback.” There’s really no difference, which should tell you about the real value of Dak Prescott. Is he $55 million a year good? Where we're going to continue to turn the team over to him for the next few years after we just had the best of Dak Prescott and every time the playoffs come, he’s just gonna fail. That's the real thing about Prescott is that look at the Cowboys and you see how they play with Cooper Rush, they're not as dynamic, but they still they find a way to win a little bit.”
